Milan Confidentiality Management, Self-Service and Server Side Refiling

Hacking and data breach stories are the norm rather than the exception today. Firms are more concerned on how to protect sensitive information. The downside of a complete “need to know” policy is that IT departments become bottlenecked and genuine people who need to work on content, do not have access which can cause delays. Milan Confidentiality Management manages this by balancing between setting up official ethical walls and allowing self-service (with or without approval), thus giving full control to the Risk team on defining policies and allowing individuals to request access to content seamlessly. The server side refiling (no dependency on confidentiality management modules), lets the firm manage the refiling rules on metadata and security to protect and maintain consistency by taking out the refiling decision from the end-user’s hands (the out of the box refile dialog in DeskSite/FileSite).

• Setting up official walls (for lateral hires or client requested walls)
• Setting up matter teams and unoffical walls
• Setting up self-service rules and best practices
• Setting up server side refiling with Milan
